Iconic Tech Studio was founded in October 2025 with a simple idea: iconic technology deserves iconic presentation.
After searching for teardown-style art pieces online, founder DJ noticed something surprising. Nearly every product on the market was manufactured overseas, often with inconsistent quality and little attention to the experience beyond the frame itself. What should have been a celebration of legendary technology often felt mass-produced and impersonal.
DJ believed there was a better way.
From the beginning, the vision for Iconic Tech Studio was to build a brand rooted in craftsmanship, authenticity, and pride in creation. Instead of outsourcing designs and assembly overseas, Iconic Tech Studio develops products locally in Maple Grove, Minnesota—where every concept, schematic, and layout begins as an in-house design.
The goal was never simply to frame old technology. The mission was to transform the devices that shaped generations into art.
Each teardown piece is carefully designed to highlight the engineering and beauty of iconic products—from legendary music players to beloved gaming hardware and groundbreaking smartphones. Every component is thoughtfully arranged to tell the story of the device, celebrating the innovation that changed how we live, create, and connect.
But the vision goes beyond the artwork itself.
