About This Iconic Piece
Nothing says fall up north like the call of a loon across a quiet lake. This mug captures that scene perfectly. A common loon glides across still water at sunset, its checkered back and striped collar standing out against a lake lit up in orange and gold.
Behind it, white birches, blazing red and orange maples, and dark pines line a rocky shoreline of granite boulders, all reflected in rippling water under a glowing sun and streaks of sunset cloud. The circular design and retro halftone texture give it the look of a classic Northwoods travel poster.
The loon is Minnesota's state bird, and this shirt is made for anyone who's spent an evening on the dock listening for one.
